New Student Orientation is a series of mandatory sessions for admitted students to learn about UNC Charlotte's campus, access campus resources, and to get answers to their burning questions before their academic year begins. This project aims to solve the gap between the information given to students during their sessions and how they would remember it all for the upcoming academic year. This resource was distributed to 7,000 admitted students (freshmen and transfer). This project's design goal was to make the book suit UNC Charlotte's brand requirements while also including playful aspects like cutouts and doodling to make it feel less corporate.

Before we started designing the workbook, the team and I generated a style guide that followed the university's brand guidelines but also incoporated fun and engaging elements like cutouts, colors, and doodles. We then generated a copy doc that university partners could go into and edit as needed.
From there I started designing the pages that were assigned to me. Some pages went through heavy revisions before getting to the final product.
